Credit Union of Texas Opens New Branch at District 121 in McKinney

ALLEN, Texas, Sept. 8, 2023 – Credit Union of Texas (CUTX) recently opened a new branch in McKinney’s District 121, the city’s new premier entertainment and events destination. Conveniently located near the intersection of Highway 121 and U.S. 75 at 6731 Alma Road, the new branch is CUTX’s second in McKinney and its first to offer Sunday hours from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. The District 121 branch also offers extended hours throughout the rest of the week, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

“We’re excited to strengthen our presence in one of the region’s fastest-growing cities and its new destination, District 121,” said Eric Pointer, CEO of CUTX. “Expanding our hours to include Sundays and adding exciting features like the Digital Education Center are examples of delivering on our promise to provide an unexpected experience to the communities we serve.”

The new location offers CUTX members and the wider community a variety of offerings, including a Digital Education Center featuring several custom touchscreens which show current promotions, provide access to CUTX’s website and online banking demonstrations, an interactive teller machine (ITM) serviced by live, virtual tellers; and a CUTX Selfie Station.

The District 121 branch includes two community gathering spaces, the CUTX stage and an indoor community room, for use by both CUTX members and the general public. The CUTX stage, located in the green space behind the branch, will host live music and other forms of entertainment. The indoor community room is available to reserve at no cost for meetings, social gatherings and collaborations. The new location also provides public access to a no-fee automated teller machine (ATM).
