
CUTX Pay for Grades Drawing
Credit Union of Texas rewards and encourages good student members with a Pay for Grades Drawing. Here’s how it works:
- All Secure Checking Account holders in grades 6 through 12 who reside in the CUTX field of membership are eligible for the drawing
- Account must be in good standing
- Winners receive $25 for every A, $5 for every B in core classes only.
- You may submit up to two report cards per academic year; one entry per semester
- Drawings are conducted 2 times per year (Fall & Spring)
- Each drawing period will award up to 36 individual winners
- Only the most recent report card prior to the entry date will be accepted
- Students may be paid for A’s and B’s earned in the following CORE subjects: English/Language Arts, Math, Science, History/Social Studies, Foreign Languages and one CTE Class
- Attach a copy of your most recent report card and deliver to any CUTX store or mail to: Credit Union of Texas, Attn: Silvana Best, P.O. Box 7000, Allen, TX 75013-1305
- Fall Pay for Grades Contest: Deadline to enter is January 15, 2023
- Spring Pay for Grades Contest: Deadline to enter is June 15, 2023
- Download and complete this form to be included in the drawing
- Winners will be notified by mail and/or email and winnings will be deposited directly into their Secure Checking Account
SMART Branch Pay for Grades Drawing
- All Secure Checking Account holders who are students at Allen, Little Elm, and Berkner high schools are eligible for the drawing
- Account must be in good standing
- Winners receive $25 for every A, $5 for every B in core classes only.
- You may submit up to two report cards per academic year; one entry per semester

- Spring Smart Branch Pay for Grades Details: Deadline to enter is May 7, 2024. Two drawings will take place on May 10, 2024 at the CUTX SMART Branches inside the Allen, Little Elm, and Berkner high schools
- Download and complete this form to be included in the drawing
- Deliver a copy of your most recent report card to the SMART Branch
- Winners will be notified by email and winnings will be deposited directly into their Secure Checking Account
Additional Rules and Requirements
Membership Required. Certain restrictions apply. Students in grades 6 through 12 who reside in the CUTX field of membership are eligible to enter the CUTX Pay for Grades Drawing. Account must be in good standing. By participating in the drawing, parents or guardians of drawing winners agree to have their child’s name, photo/likeness used in any advertising material related to this contest without additional financial or other compensation. Winners of the CUTX Pay for Grades Drawing will be notified by mail or email within one week of the winners being chosen. The submission deadline for the CUTX Pay for Grades Drawing is to be determined. Winners of the SMART Branch Pay for Grades Drawing will be notified in person at the Allen or Little Elm SMART Branch on the day of the drawing: Fall Semester Drawing: December 9, 2022; Spring Semester Drawing: May 5, 2023. Payouts will be deposited into the student’s account with CUTX and may be subject to IRS reporting. Winner is responsible for all tax liability. CUTX reserves the right to change or modify the rules of the drawing at any time. Report card or copy of report card required must be dated within 30 days of the submission deadline to be considered. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Failure to comply with the drawing rules may result in disqualification. Federally insured by NCUA.
