From Online Banking
to our free mobile app
, we keep up with the tech just as fast as it changes. We watch out for the bad guys, too. They won’t catch us sleeping.
We donate our time, money, and resources to worthy local charities. We support educational efforts by supporting teachers and offer scholarships for student members.
In 1931, a small group of Dallas teachers applied for a credit union charter. In the beginning, CUTX's assets totaled only $65! CUTX now ranks in the top 100 credit unions in the country in asset size. We serve over 120,000 members in all 50 states.
The responsibility for the successful operation of CUTX is vested in a volunteer Board of Directors elected from the membership each year at CUTX's Annual Meeting. CUTX is owned by its members, and operated in accordance with the laws governing credit unions in the State of Texas. As a member, your deposits are federally insured by the
National Credit Union Administration, a United States government agency.
We're committed to actively sponsoring events and causes that enhance the quality of life for our community. From volunteerism, to community sponsorships and financial education, we strive to make a difference every day. Our staff, members and volunteers have proudly donated time and money to Children’s Miracle Network, American Red Cross, Project Bundle Up, Dallas Retired Teachers Association, American Cancer Society, DFW Humane Society, and North Texas Food Bank, just to name a few. We also support education in a big way — awarding scholarships to members each year and supporting local schools through our adopt-a-school program.
